How to become a real estate agent in New Zealand

If you are interested in becoming a real estate agent in New Zealand you need to complete the “Real Estate Salesperson Course”.

Once completed, you can apply for a salesperson’s licence from the Real Estate Agents’ Authority – www.reaa.govt.nz. This is renewed annually throughout your career.

You can either complete the real estate salesperson course at home through the Open Polytechnic at your own pace or within a few days at a contact course at a place near you.
